Aneta Chervongorodka-Senczyna
Biography
She graduated from the Warsaw School of Rural Economy, Faculty of Human Nutrition and Consumption Sciences, obtaining a master's degree in human nutrition and dietetics.
Already during her studies she started working at the Clinic of Pediatrics and Endocrinology of the Independent Public Children's Clinical Hospital in Warsaw, where she conducted research for her doctoral thesis, defended in 2008 at the I Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy in Warsaw. Title of the thesis: “Effect of dietary calcium on anthropometric indices, lipid and carbohydrate metabolism indicators in children and adolescents with simple obesity.
She obtained the degree of Doctor of Habilitation in Medical Sciences and Health Sciences in 2019, based on a series of publications entitled “The role of obesity and its complications and mode of nutrition and nutritional status in the pathogenesis of selected health disorders”.
She has been employed at the Department of Clinical Dietetics (formerly at the Department of Human Nutrition) of the Medical University of Warsaw since 2006.
She specializes in pediatric dietetics, nutrition for pregnant and lactating women, and dietary support for fertility disorders. Author of numerous scientific publications in these areas of knowledge.
